To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the Catalan Federation of UNESCO Clubs and Associations (FCACU) announces the first edition of Culture Award Let the colors of UNESCO. The objective of this initiative is to make visible the actions that civil society is doing in the area of the Catalan Countries.

Calls Catalan Federation of UNESCO Clubs and Associations (FCACU)

THEME: Actions, experiences and best practices that have stood out for their uniqueness and innovation in relation to its own core themes of UNESCO: Education (throughout life, education for all, education for peace, ... ), culture (language, literary competitions, exhibitions ...), Peace Culture, Science, Communication, Heritage (language diversity, heritage conservation campaigns, ...), environment, interfaith dialogue.

PROGRAMS:

Type A. It will host the UNESCO clubs and associations of the Catalan Federation of UNESCO Clubs and Associations.

Mode B. It may benefit other members of the civilian network UNESCO libraries, professorships and schools associated with UNESCO.

Type C. It may benefit associations and organizations related to the objectives of UNESCO clubs and associations.

PRIZE: First prize in each category will receive an artwork from an artist and an assortment of UNESCO publications. All participants will receive a certificate of participation.

SUBMISSION: Each association or organization wishing to apply for the award must submit the duly filled and attached file a copy of the action, experience and good practice with which chooses the award, on paper, CD / DVD or both. This material should be sent to the headquarters of FCACU (c / Naples, 346, 1st floor, 08025 Barcelona), within deadlines, while stating: "We Culture Prize in the colors of UNESCO".

ADMISSION DEADLINE: Monday, 16 November 2009.

JURY: Made up of subject specialists Prize, whose names will be announced accordingly.

Verdict and awards ceremony: the place to be announced and the date.

CONDITIONS: Prize can be declared winner if the jury believes that the works presented have no minimum quality or do not fit these rules. Any situation not provided for in these rules and the interpretation of its articles will be resolved by the jury, whose decisions are final. The presentation of this award constitutes acceptance of these rules.
